"Told to go elsewhere"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

Anything else?

I was told that as I lived in a different area I needed to go to that walk in centre instead of Tooting even though the Tooting walk in centre is closest to me! They refused to dress my wound simply because I had a different postcode! Ridiculous!

We are very sorry to learn of your poor experience. With the information you have provided it is not possible to respond fully but the management team responsible for the urgent care centre are unclear as to why you should have been sent away from the department. If you would like a full response to your concerns please contacted the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS@stgeorges.nhs.uk) and the team will facilitate this. Apologies once again for your poor experience.
