"During my 8 hour flight home from ..."

About: East Surrey Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

During my 8 hour flight home from Dominican Republic i developed chronic food poisoning which left me in a great deal of pain and with some rather undesriable symptoms, by the time I arrived at Gatwick I was seriously dehydrated and was told by there were no medics available at the airport. I was advised to call an ambulance. Very quickly after making the call several paramedic arrived and were fantastic, they got me to hospital very quickly where i was treated in A&E almost immediately. With-in 20 minutes of my arrival i had recieved treatment to rehydrate me as well as pan relief and antisickness drugs. All of the staff (paramedics, doctors and nurses) involved in my treatment were helpful, friendly and efficient and deserve ptaise on every level. Many thanks to everyone involved in my treatment that morning.

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing, fantastic treatment and service provided.
