"first op appointment and hysteroscopy"

I was so nervous about this appointment but I had no need to be. The atmosphere was peaceful and calming. The environment was very clean. Both my mum and I were made to feel welcome and were put at ease. The nurse who looked after me was awesome and even said we should walk slowly for my mum when we were going to ultrasound and I said that my mum would follow on. I was also put at ease in u/s and looked after really well. The nurse who collected us to take us back to the department was also very kind, and while I was having the hysteroscopy, she made my mum and other patients a cup of tea! Wow!!! The doctor was very kind when talking to me and very willful in carrying out the procedure. The nurse again was awesome during the procedure in both helping/advising the doctor and looking after and reassuring myself. There was also another doctor present who was very personable and reassuring. I can't thank all the team enough for everything they did for both my mum and myself. An extremely different experience from one which I had had in2011 at the other end of the hospital. I would gladly recommend this department to anyone. Many, many thanks.
