What could be improved

I attended Outpatients Dept 2 on Thursday 27 March 2008 with a 15.50 appointment...I was finally seen by the medical team at 19.25,over three and a half hours later. I have absolutely no complaints about my Dr and their team,the consultation was first class and very thorough.Surely something should be done on the admin side to stop the overbooking of appointments to prevent the re occurence of this again.I think a wait of over 3 hours is unacceptable and should be looked into as to the cause...some 40 appointments had been made for this clinic.
