I had treatment recently as an outpatient for an endoscopy and colonoscopy - neither pleasant experiences. I was both embarrassed and nervous and frankly I was dreading the experience.

I was astounded at my treatment. I have been a a serial complainer about the N&N in the past but nothing at all could have been been improved. The ward was spotless and smelled lovely, the staff were kindness itself and the doctors both shook hands with me and introduced themselves by their first names. My treatment was easily bearable and I enjoyed the unusual experience of people looking after me.

It was almost a pleasure!
