"Heart attack - staff were excellent"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Cardiology The Princess Royal Hospital / Cardiology West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I had a heart attack in November 2010.

I was taken to Princess Royal Hospital. I was given an angiography examination, and transferred to North Staffordshire hospital to have 2 stents fitted.

The treatment at both hospitals was excellent.

The transfer to North Staffordshire hospital took place 1 hour after treatment at PRH - the transfer ambulance drove very steadily taking longer than usual for transfer.

N. S. H staff were excellent and I was discharged on the 5th day from my heart attack and have made a full recovery.
