"Nervous about sigmoidoscopy"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I attended the sigmoidoscopy department in April and have to admit was not looking forward to it! In fact I was really quite frightened.

I have to say that every one of the staff I dealt with were fantastic, so friendly, sympathetic and caring. At the end of the appointment I wondered why I had been so nervous.

I would like to say thank you to every one of them.
