Just would like to say how impressed I have been with Colchester General Hospital, in particular the podiatry department and the day ward. Three weeks ago I had bunion surgery carried out on the day ward. All the staff, the assistant, theatre nurses and ward nurses were very helpful, kind and reassuring. It made the whole experience a good one. Thank you to all the staff who have and are still treating me. I understand the pressures of working in the public sector and the criticism the General has taken over recent months. So it's good to say well done when credits due!
