My mother was in hospital for 7 days, when we went to visit we asked for pain relief for my mother and this came 1.5 hours after we asked. The hospital did not seem bothered if she was eating or drinking this seemed to be left down to us. My mother was discharged from hospital and I was told to bring my car round to the front to collect her. She was wheeled by a porter with a big bag of medication with out clear instructions on how to take this medication. The hospital had not asked where my mother was coming home to before discharging her and an assessment had not been carried out which should have been done as she lives on her own.
