VERY PLEASED WITH THE TREATMENT I RECIEVED ON THIS WARD . THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND CARING.THE ONLY CRITISISM IS THAT THE STAFF ARE REALLY OVERWORKED, AND ALLTHOUGH THEY TRY, THE LACK OF STAFF REALLY TELLS.

ALSO DURING THE NIGHT NO QUALLIFIED NURSES AVAILABLE. ONLY CARE ASSISTANTS. WHO TRY BUT ARE ALSO OVERWORKED.

CLEANLINESS, YET AGAIN SEEM TO BE SHORT STAFFED .

FOOD WAS OK OR JUST ADEQUATE.

We are happy to hear that you are pleased with the service you received while in our orthopaedics department and thank you for taking the time to comment on NHS Choices. However, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the quality of food provided and that you felt that staff were overworked. We are grateful for your opinion and are constantly striving towards improved services within our hospital.
