"the staff were always friendly ..."

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

the staff were always friendly and did there job well

What could be improved

there was never enough staff on the wards that i .have been in and .The food is dreadfull .I have been in Moorfields for six opearations and the food is as good as i get at home there, and they have more staff why? perhaps the managers should try it for themselves. i expect they all have private health care

We review staffing levels on an on-going basis, but have a particular focus at the moment on this area and have a number of initiatives underway. All senior nurses are expected to have some involvement clinically in order to ensure this is monitored and are realistic about what is required.
