"The staff are friendly and it's great to have a laugh with other patients"

About: Airedale Centre for Mental Health Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I was admitted into A&E after taking an overdose - from there I was offered help on Heather Ward, which I accepted.

Since then I've had the chance to discuss resettlement and after care plans. The staff are friendly and it's great to have a laugh with other patients. Sometimes it was tough to see a nurse when you need to, but now I'm leaving and feeling more positive about the future.

Fingers crossed.

Firstly let me wish you the best of luck with your resettlement and care plan. I am pleased you have a positive oulook and grateful to receive comments that show we have supported you with this.

You mention that it was sometimes difficult to see a nurse when you needed to. We have recently recruited more staff and this problem should hopefully have been resolved.

Thank you for sharing your comments, everyone on Heather ward appreciated them.
