"visit to A&E"

Anything else?

i went in to A&E department in a lot of pain. waited an hour to see the nurse, had bloods taken then waited 3.5 hours to see a doctor who told me to take pain killers and go home.

bloods were fine so there was no problem other than the fact that i left feeling the same as i came in. he did not ask questions about my symptoms or even examine me, i was just another person clogging up the board upsetting the hospitals statistics and needed to be sent home.

i was sent home with strong pain killers but the doctor didn't ask any questions to make sure i was ok to use them (previous surgery that could cause side affects) and by the time i got home the pain i went in with was gone but i spent the rest of night in the worst excrutiating pain and i had 3 kids and gallstones so i know pain.

i have visited the department before but never have i left it feeling worse or as humiliated as i did on that day, well done to the doctor who saw me.
