What I liked

On 080408 my mother was admiitted to A&E RSCH following a fall at her nursing home. The staff in attendance couldn't have been more caring. On admission to A&E her condition was assessed by an emergency doctor who treated Mum with great respect and kindness. X-rays were taken as there was possible damage to hips/pelvic area. However, the blow to her head proved more relevant. After x-rays, we were transferred to CDU(?) where we met more staff. (cont under next heading)

What could be improved

One member of staff was both efficient and compassionate (qualities not often found together) and another one was remarkable. The respect, empathy, care and compassion he showed for this lady aged 100 (dob 26071907) was exceptional. I tried to express my appreciation at the time. Since then, Mum has passed away and I am in the process thanking people who helped Mum and felt it imperative to record the events on 080408. Please bring my comments to all management staff in A&E and CDU. Thank you, Gillian
