About: Royal Bolton Hospital

Anything else?

My1 year old son had become very ill in October 2012. We went to a routine appointment COPD, his Dr could see how distressed I was becoming at how ill my son was and that afternoon he was admitted to the ward. His Doctor could not have done enough for my son. The day after he was admitted to the ward he came to see me to explain everything that was going to happen as many tests were needed. As he couldn't be around for the rest of the week he made sure a new Dr was appointed, I was very grateful for this as it is very daunting when your child is ill.

After he got discharged I had and still have regular contact with his Dr. I don't know where we would be today without him.

My son also sees the dietician and Bolton and she is the same can't do enough to help and is always on the end of the phone when we need her

I'd like to thank all the staff that are involved in my sons care and would recommend Bolton Hospital to everyone

Our staff realise how distressing it can be for parents when a child is ill, so we're pleased to hear that you were reassured by the care your child received. Support for a family can be just as important as treatment and it sounds as though you did receive this from our staff. Thank you for sharing your experience.
