Nobody in Haytor listens to anything I say.
When my son came home at Xmas he spent most most of the time talking to someone that wasn't there and became quite agitated and aggressive to the point where he punched his sister in the face and threatened to punch me in the face. I've never seen him show that much aggression.
When I pointed this out to staff they said they thought he was getting better. His paranoia is getting worse. He even rang me to say I had chips put in his head, saying I wasn't his mother, and he wanted his real mother's phone number 'NOW'.
When I rang to find out what was happening they said he was unsure of his origins and were checking on the internet to find out. Why are they pampering to his paranoia and feeding it? Recently he has been taken away and nobody is giving the information to his next of kin. I was told "I'm not sure I can give you that information". If somebody writes a will while not being of sound mind - that will is not valid, why is it that they cannot tell me where he is in this situation?
To make matters worse they took him from his flat and rang me the day before and asked me if I had any objections. I replied "No" because I knew how ill he was. They then proceeded, while he was kicking off in the background and knew it was me they were calling, to ask me if I had changed my mind. Which has fed his paranoia a bit more, making me the enemy.
Then a member of staff told him that he could get out in 2 hours if I signed the papers. He rang me demanding that I sign the papers so he could leave - which is not the case. I have found they have made me the enemy, which has fed his delusions, and am not happy with their professionalism and attitude.
