"Thank you for my redo bypass surgery"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Cardiothoracic surgery

(as the patient),

Admitted to UHNS for redo bypass surgery in early March & I can only thank the leading Surgeon Mr Abid & his team for the excellent care & attention I received & for the support for my family during & after this very difficult & traumatic operation.

Also high praise to the critical care team and the nurses on ward 223. There are an awful lot of negative comments made about the NHS but without the dedication to all the Cardiology/ Heart team @ the hospital over the last 12 months I would not be able to have the quality of life most people yearn for.

Also my thanks to the rehab team for the opportunity for pre op exercise regime, which gave me the strength & attitude to get through and also for the opportunity to develop my recovery time afterwards.
