What could be improved

I called your hospital with regards to the out of hours GP, this was the first time I had called the hospital and the receptionist was hostile to say the least! They informed me that the GP service "had nothing to do with St Marks" and wouldn't let me get a word in. I asked them if I could speak and they continued to talk over me. I told them that I found their tone appauling and offensive - I'd made a simple mistake by calling the hospital direct. Maybe they would benefit from some customer service skills training and could be reminded that someone calling for the doctor is most likely unwell and needs help not hostility.
