This afternoon I attended the paediatric department with my 14 year old daughter who was extremely nervous about her appointment. However, she was immediately put at ease by the staff who greeted us in a very welcoming and friendly manner. We were offered comfortable waiting facilities in a pleasant environment with access to beverage making facilities. I must commend the staff for their professionalism and efficiency and also for dealing with my daughter with genuine care and compassion, whilst paying close attention to her privacy and dignity which she really appreciated. She is a lot less nervous about attending her future appointments.
