Anything else?
I had an operation for the repair of a macular hole, in the Newlands Day Care Unit in April and would like to thank the staff there for their kindness and professionalism during my short stay. Any surgery is worrying, but their cheerful, friendly approach made it all seem bearable. I was aware that the procedure was quite complicated and worried that I might not be able to keep still for the forty-five minutes it took, but the careful preparation by the anaesthetist and theatre staff, and the courteous attitude of the surgeon meant that I felt reassured.
