Yesterday evening, my 72 year old mother needed to visit A&E Max Fax team for treatment on a sudden large swelling on her jaw. From the initial gentleman that met her and did the preliminary screening from main A&E to the Max Fax nurse, Doctor and team, my Mother was treated wonderfully.

People were kind, comforting and reassuring.

If I knew their names I'd send a "Thank You" card to each of them.

Being such a large place, I was a little apprehensive but I had no need to worry.

Thank you.

Your comments have been passed onto the senior staff responsible for the Emergency Department and the Maxillofacial team; they will ensure your feedback is shared with their teams.

It is a real morale boost for staff to receive feedback like this from patients. It means such a lot to know that the hard work, dedication and commitment of our staff is recognised and valued in this way. It is also very satisfying for staff to hear they have made such a difference to patients and made sure your mother’s experience under our care has been positive.
