"Ok service but some areas could be improved"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Parkwood inpatient unit

(as the patient),

Overall there was not enough help but you do try and help in some things, but in other ways nothing.

Medical information was helpful. I would have liked more help with my benefits. I’ve no money and I’ve received no sick note.

The staff are there if you need them. They do try and they do treat you with respect and compassion.

Thank you for your positive comments. I am sorry that you did not experience enough help with your benefits and financial affairs. Following recent Government policy regarding welfare reform and benefit changes we have arranged for relevant support to come to Parkwood to support individuals with benefit and allowance claims.
