My wife was in one of the rainbow rooms on Highclere Ward for the final few weeks of here life. The quality of care was truly remarkable from all of the staff. The nurses and healthcare assistants were amazingly dedicated, professional and hard working a perfect example of what hospital care should be. Her health was progressively deteriorating to the point where she needed a high level of support which was given with consistent sensitivity and outstanding devotion.

When I received the phone call in the early hours of one morning informing me that she had passed away the call was sensitive and from a nurse we knew well
