Anything else?
My husband was diagnosed with throat cancer in January 2013 and advised to have 33 treatments of radiotherapy. The Radiotherapy Team were brilliant in making the patients feel confident and supported throughout the whole time. My husband had to be admitted via A & E because of chronic COPD mid way through his treatment. Yes, we waited over 7 hours from 1 a.m. waiting for a bed but that team were brilliant in keeping my husband comfortable and updating us regularly. He was admitted to Adeleide Ward where he spent 9 days. That has to be exemplary nursing, thank you to them all. I get so cross when there is constant bashing of our precious NHS - Royal Berkshire Hospital you are the best.
