"Hyperemesis in early pregnancy"

Went in to QA in the early hours with extreme sickness. I can honestly say I have never felt so ill in my life. I was so dehydrated I was crying but tears were just not appearing. I was being sick during my triage chat and was scared and worried as this is my first pregnancy.

All I can say is that all of the staff are incredible. They kept me smiling, informed, and despite it being early on the morning very attentive. I cannot express how much it meant as I had never even stayed in hospital before and was concerned that people would think I was being a pain!They looked after me so well and made sure I as comfortable as possible.

Each nurse, midwife and even the janitorial/ care staff were friendly, kind and extremely professional. Still amazed at how anyone can criticise nurses for being uncaring as they were clearly busy and pushed for time but they still made me feel important and cared for.
