"Scoliosis Surgery - amazing"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

Anything else?

Had Soliosis surgery September 2011 but have had follow up appointments since then basically everything was amazing went from a spine at 65 degrees to 13 absolutely fantastic work, although when I was in hospital it may have been better to have had people my own age and sex, I shared a bay with a 14 year old boy still watching CBBC and a baby which made my stay a little less comfortable as I had hoped to make friends with whoever I was sharing with. But fab work thank you!!

Claire, thanks for posting on Patient Opinion about the good outcome from your scoliosis surgery. I have used your name to try to see which ward you were on based upon our computer system but I have been unable to find you on the system.

I would be pleased to look into the issue of your ward placement if you could let me know which ward you were admitted to. Also if you were able to email me directly (marked for Lee Bennett) at pals@addenbrookes.nhs.uk with your date of birth and hospital number (if you know it) it would make my onward enquiry a little easier.

Thanks again.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. It was great to know what a different your scoliosis surgery has made to you. We were sorry that your inpatient experience was affected by the age of the other patients. Perhaps this is something you might be able to talk to our PALS team about - you can email them at pals@addenbrookes.nhs.uk
