I had an operation in Heartlands Hospital on 12th March 2013, the care I received was second to none. I was well informed what the operation involved. I had pre op assessment a week before the operation I had X rays, an ECG and bloods taken which was all done quick and efficiently and every member of staff was very pleasant and polite. The nurse in pre op explained everything in great detail was exceptionally thorough and pleasant. When I was admitted I went to admissions unit where again everyone was lovely. I went to theatre then to HDU where the staff were brilliant especially the sister of the ward. I then went to ward 5 again every member of staff was kind polite and professional. I was discharged 4 days later again everyone was marvellous. I was extremely impressed with the care I received, well done to all involved and anyone being admitted here I hope your experience will be as good as mine.
