What could be improved
Lack of communication between staff and departments needs addressing. Disgusting hygiene, bring back 'Matrons' ward rounds and inspections. Derogatory remarks and rudeness witnessed regarding staff talking amongst themselves about patients, discretionn and some empathy might be a good place to start.
Staff morale low and general apathy among nurses, don't do the job if your hearts not in it.
Receptionists/clerical staff and managers - A & E need to learn basic customer service skills and manners.
