Anything else?
My wife jammed a finger in a foldaway bed. Went to St Thomases A&E at around 9 pm (had our 10 month old son with us). Granted there were not many people. But... only waited for 3 min at reception, saw a nurse after 10 min, then the doctor after 5 more min, even though the finger looked okish, they sent to Xray. By the time we walked to xray, records were there, waited for 5 more min and after having xray went back. Friendly nurse showed the x ray image saying that all was miraculously fine - bone was intact. Not rushing, extremely polite. The doctor popped for a second from his office to show an ok sign to us (he was seeing another patient at that time), confirming that he has seen the image as well and all was fine. Can you ask for a better service? Thank you so much everybody at A&E! You are the model of how medical care should be in the UK.
"Better than private service! Fantastic!"
