"Thank you to the staff of Wansbeck Hospital"

About: Wansbeck Hospital

Anything else?

I was admitted to A&E on Saturday the 13th April, after being seen by the doctors in resus, I was moved to the admissions ward where everything was ready for my arrival. The staff were professional and friendly throughout the short time I was there before being moved to ward 3.

The staff in ward 3 showed the same professionalism and friendliness as the others.

All the staff made what was a frightening experience for me more bearable.

Thank You to everyone who cared for me, and not forgetting the paramedics who were there for me at the time of my collapse.

Hats off to the staff of Wansbeck Hospital, and the NHS in this area.

Dear Georgina

First of all I hope that you are making a swift recovery and thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience.

As an organisation we place great emphasis on our patients having a really positive experience whilst in our care and I’m so pleased to hear that you were looked after so well. It’s particularly pleasing to hear that you experienced the same high standards of care and compassion we expect of all our staff whilst being treated in different areas and by different teams.

I will make sure that your kind words are passed on to all those concerned.

With warmest wishes

Annie Laverty, Director of Patient Experience
