What I liked

I was in St.Cross ward for ten days,I couldn't have been treated better if I had stayed in a 5*hotel.

I had an operation for a slipped disc, my pain control button was excellent.

All the doctors,sister and nurses attended to my every need with care, compassion and excellent nursing care.

The ward was clean and very bright, beds were extremely comfortable.

All the staff were happy, I can honestly say it was a 'pleasure' to have stayed in St.Cross ward. THANK YOU EVERYONE.

What could be improved

The only thing I think could be improved is the drink of water when laying on your back, I think, is possible, a flexible tube straw instead of the bendy ordinary straw in a glass, if a more acessible flexible straw could be utilised it would save worrying the nurses when you jusr wanted a 'sip' for a dry mouth, although the nurses would always help you whatever time of day and night
