Anything else?
From the moment I was admitted to the burns unit I was treated with outstanding professionalism, involved in all the decisions. All doctors and Nurses explained everything clearly and gave me as much time as I needed to ask questions. All staff from consultant to cleaner were friendly and reassuring and could not do enough for you.
I never had to wait for anything. All areas including my room and the toilets and communal areas were spotless with excellent hygiene and infection control observed by all staff.
The 'culture' of the burns unit was exemplary. A shining beacon of NHS care and the excellence of it's staff.
Even on discharge the staff were more than helpful at ensuring all the services I would need once home were in place and that follow up and after care was clearly explained.
"Burns Unit excellent care, brilliant professional..."
