"National health service at it's best"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

In late November 2012 I was diagnosed with non-invasive breast cancer, following routine screening. I underwent surgery the following month and this was followed up with 15 days' radiotherapy in February. All the indications at this stage are that the treatment was been successful.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care that I received at Lincoln County Hospital. At the breast unit, day surgery and oncology everyone treated me with professionalism and genuine personal caring. This applied to all the staff, at all levels.

I really felt that I experienced the National Health Service at its best.
