In early April my mother was involved in a car accident and was brought into hospital by ambulance. The ambulance drivers, nurses and doctors were all wonderful.

Although it was extremely busy everyone was caring and efficient. My husband and I were in the department for about 5 hours and during that time we were twice offered tea or coffee which was most appreciated.

My mother was kept overnight and again, on the Surgical Assessment Ward, they made her comfortable and the staff were exceptional.
