What I liked

I received Greenlight PVP treatment on my prostate at the DTC unit of the hospital. The DTC is 3 years old, very modern, clean and well equipped. I was admitted at 16.00 hrs operated on that evening and discharged at 11.00 hrs the next day. I could not have been treated better. The standard of care an attention was excellent. This also applied to the pre op assessment which was carried out a week prior to entering the DTC for my operation, with the exception of the taking blood samples in main hospital.

What could be improved

As part of the pre op assessment I had to visit the main hospital to have blood samples taken. In contrast to the DTC the facilities where the blood samples were taken were much older with numerous people sitting around waiting to be attended to. Some efforts could be made to reduce the waiting times in this area.
