"The care I received in the medical ..."

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The care I received in the medical assessment ward.

What could be improved

Thankfully upon my most recent admission to A&E, learned doctors decided that I needed treatment, and did not send me hence from there untreated as I was twice before, when I found myself at the mercy of the same doctor who said I had nothing more than anxiety and sent me home.

Two weeks later , and again short of breath, I was once again admitted, but this time the doctors took note of what ailed me, and I was put into the medical assessment ward till late the next day. Here I was told that I had been unable to exhume air because of C.O.P.D. I was grateful for this knowledge and the care I received, all this because I did not fall into the hands of the doctor before, who would no doubt have sent me home again. When the doctor did so last,I was so weak and exhausted that I could barely make motion to carry myself out.
