My husband and I are were extremely impressed with the continual care, support and constant reassurance during the 5 days we spent at Lister following my induction and subsequent unplanned C-section for the birth of our son. I cannot fault the care of the midwives, nursery nurses, breastfeeding counsellors and other staff involved in caring for me and our son. The staff involved in the C-section such as the anaethetist and theatre nurses were fantastic as well.

All in all, I would definitely recommend to any pregnant women to use Lister as their birth hospital.

Given the circumstances of your son's birth, which will have been so hard for you and your husband to have gone through, we're delighted that you have taken the time to tell us how well cared for you felt whilst in the hands of our maternity team. We know it's a fantastic new unit, but that's nothing compared to the great maternity team we have now - as you say, everyone from the midwives through to the theatres staff. Many thanks again and can we take this opportunity to wish you and your new family all the very best for the future.
