My mother was a patient on ward a4 up until she passed away on 3rd February 2013. Her name was Mrs Doreen Ann Frost. The nursing staff that provided care for my mother was truly exceptional. At a time of great despair and sadness throughout our family, from Doreens mother, partner, brothers and her children the nursing staff, including ladies asking if anyone would need or like a hot drink, to ask any questions regarding Doreens illness and lastly the kindness and consideration they provided when they tried to contact us in time to get back to the hospital after midnight so we could have a chance to see her before she sadly passed away, was completely and utterly tremendous. I do hope that a manger of that ward and his/her manager will also get to see this message and hopefully the staff will get great recognition from them, to which they all truly deserve.
