"Impressed by Crawley day surgery unit"

Last week, I was admitted into the Day Surgery Unit to undergo an Arthroscopy on my left knee.

Strangely enough, I was looking forward to the operation because I had been in pain for quite a long time.

Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that I was the only male patient booked in that day and asked if I minded waiting in the recovery room because the ward was full of females.

From that minute on, I was visited by a number of smiling ward staff who I found very friendly, informative, helpful and had the attitude that nothing was too much trouble (all that whilst it was obvious that they were busy).

I was impressed by my visit and treatment. Please pass on my thanks to the ward staff and the medical team who operated on me.
