Excellent care from the staff in A&E, and subsequently in Theatre and ITU for my late mother.

She was seen immediately, and a CT scan arranged very quickly. Staff took care of small details such as a pillow to make Mum comfortable while she was on a trolley in A&E.

They were equally sensitive to the needs of my siblings and I at this difficult time, providing information, privacy and much-appreciated tea and coffee facilities during the long period she was in theatre.

We were fully aware of eye seriousness of the situation, but also confident that have was in capable hands and receiving first-class care.
