I was sent for a blood test by my GP. I was told to be there early and get a ticket. Even so I was no 20 of the day and many more were arriving all the time. The progress was quick and efficient, I was seen in 27 minutes and the process completed soon after. The nurses were very patient with those around me. It is a shame the NHS wants to shut all of this down.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust thanks you for your expression of appreciation for our phlebotomy services at Charing Cross. It is important to note that although health services in NW London will be changing and services at Charing Cross are part of that there are no Trust plans to close Charing Cross Hospital.
