Your appointment centre is a mess. No one knows what the other hand is doing. Unable to get through to secretaries - either an answer phone for most of the day or the phone rings out with no answer phone facility !

0844 number needs to be sorted. Most people have mobiles these days and the fees to call an 0844 is extortianate...I fortunately ring the main switchboard.

My biggest qualm with MYT is admin, lack of communication, failing to respond to answer phone messages, failing to try and resolve appointments that you know you should have but no one can find records of !

Of the doctors i have seen, I have been treated with respect and courtesy at all times

I am a non smoker, but I do not have any problem with smokers - but I do have a problem with walking a tirade of smoke at the main entrance ! please build a shelter a little way a way from the entrance and provide ample ashtrays to allow the smokers, that are staff, visitors or patients to use...make a much cleaner environment.

I am a little at awe of the waste of space in the hospital...long trailing corridors ! which leave most visitors or patients exhausted before they reach their destination !

Overall Im a little disappointed with the layout of the hospital - the space could of been used to make more wards or departments

The Trust is currently reviewing the management arrangements for out patient services. Alternative diect dial land line numbers to the 0844 contacts are accessible via the Trust website.
