My daughter saw a consultant in September of 2012 he requested to see her two months later. I received a letter from the contact centre asking me to ring them which I did only to be told the consultant had no clinics and my daughter would have to wait until after Christmas into the new year. When I received no further letter in the new year I was very disappointed. I tried numerous times to contact the consultants secretary with no success. I waited and waited and still no appointment. My health visitor contacted the consultants secretary and the response she got was "oh I dont know I will have to look into it" no apology no nothing and still no appointment. Enough was enough and at another appointment my daughter had at pinderfields I complained and kept on at the receptionist to do something she did help me and got my daughter the appointment she needed this was after waiting 8 months to be seen. Disgusted. This should not be happening and this is not the kind of care anybody deserves.
