Anything else?
Hi
I have come back to follow up on my recent comments left a couple of weeks ago.
I was admitted for a septoplasty and snd on Tuesday 2nd April 2013.
On arriving I was shown to my ward which was spotless and quiet.
I was visited by 2 lovely anesthetists and my surgeon before my op and everything I needed to know and what to expect before & afterwards was explained in great detail, and despite having other issues with my health which they were very concerned with, I was happy to continue with my surgery and knew they would look after me the best they could. The ward nurses were very welcoming and diligent with any info and obs that needed doing.
I was allowed home the following day with plenty of dressings and medicine and information of continuing my recovery at home. As I previously stated I was expecting excellent care and they actually excelled my expectations.
Although I had bled a lot during the night the nurses were very patient with me and changed my dressing asap.
I could not thank them highly enough - right from the start when i went for my pre admission right thru to discharge and would highly recommend this hospital and many thanks to all the staff for a happy pleasant stay with them
