Anything else?

Superb treatment by what seems an overworked and understaffed department. The unit does not have sufficient space to accommodate sufficient patients leaving many patients waiting on ambulance trolleys. Not enough preparation for running down other A & E's? Could this translate into poor ambulance response times?

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback and I am glad that all went well for you during your visit to A&E. Our hospitals been exceptionally busy over recent weeks with the prolonged winter being a contributing factor rather than surrounding A&E departments or ambulance response times. If the hospital itself is busy then this can cascade to the 'front door' of A&E and we have been working hard to ensure patients are seen swiftly to minimise waiting. Thankfully the pressures are easing a little now. Thank you again; your feedback is much appreciated.
