Anything else?
I think it is appalling to have a system in place that penalises blue badge holders if they are unable to find a disabled space. Surely the whole point of having the blue badge means that your ability to travel is already difficult, public transport will not be an option and so parking as near as possible to where you need to go would seem logical. I know there are a number of disabled spaces and these have been increased. I'm not asking for more as this then penalises other drivers who cannot use them. However I think it grossly unfair to charge someone for parking when it has already been established by the provision of a blue badge that they need to use a car and cannot possibly know if a space is available or not.
