"Unable to treat my father."

About: Manor Hospital

Anything else?

My father was admitted to this hospital by ambulance after visiting his G.P with severe stomach pains on the 20th March. After over 3 hours being shuffled here and there from ward 11 to A&E, he was placed in a wheelchair in between 3 members of staff who were arguing over him that he was in the wrong place, no one seemed to want to take responsibility to treat him. He got some frustrated and in pure agony and left, no-one even tried to stop him. He was treated later at Lichfield and then finally admitted to Stafford hospital on Thursday 21st and diagnosed with Kidney stones and given the correct treatment immediately.

I would not recommend any one going to this hospital, this is the not the first time I have come across bad treatment of this hospital, it looks lovely from the outside but the staff are awful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.

We are very concerned about your experience and would really like to gain more information so that we can take action to ensure that future patients are not in the same position.

Clearly this is not the standard of care we strive to provide for our patients and so it would be helpful if you could contact our Patient Relations Department – 01922 656463.
