"A very nice midwife actually delivered ..."

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

(as the patient),

What I liked

A very nice midwife actually delivered my baby-and the staff next day were nice. (I only ahd the delivery midwife for 10 mins!-she was very friendly and confident)

What could be improved

andMeeting you when you arrive-Staff were rude and unhelpful-reduced me in labour to tears by telling me they weren't expecting me nad sending me upstairs-(Old building) even though my midwife had phoned ahead-the name had not been changed on the delivery room door-resulting in it being empty for four hous before they realised it was saved for me. The midwife I had then told me she hadn't done a delivery for ages! she was rude and never read my birth plan. Luckily her shift endeed just before my little boy was born and the new one was lovley.
