Anything else?
I am due to have a complex procedure which I'm still waiting for. I was listed for an operation/procedure for a full day procedure that staff had left me out of the discussion about. I feel that when arranging theatre dates or any appointment that I and any patient should be included in any dates.
I should be involved with discussions relating to any dates or any other aspect of my care.
There should be a centralised point of contact when patients are listed for operations/procedures so that I or any patient can speak to about any update of the appointment or the procedure if being delayed or any other aspect that affects me.
