Anything else?
I had to take a trip to bridgwater hospital as I has suspected I had broken my toe. I seen a nurse who advised me to come back in a few days time if I was still unable to walk. This nurse was very nice and I felt very well looked after, however on my second visit I did not have such a nice experience.
I was called into the examination room where I had to hop to (the male nurse did not offer me any help) he told me to take a seat pointed to my toe which had been strapped up by the previous nurse and said "take that off" due to the pain I was in it took me a while to do so to which he kept huffing and puffing at me! He was very rude and made me feel like I was making a fuss out of nothing. He finally sent me for an X-ray to which again I had to hop down to, no help was offered. After a long wait I was finally called and told by this nurse that I had broken two of my toes. He then strapped my toes up in the most rushed mannor not caring about the obvious pain I was in. I was working in the community at the time as a nurse and asked him whether I got a sick note from him or my Gp as wouldn't be able to walk let alone drive. He stated I would be fine and refused to discuss the matter further! My Gp signed me off for two weeks! Very disappointing, would go to musgrove park hospital straight away if I ever needed hospital treatment again! Would not recommend this hospital!
"Poor and uncaring service"
